MEET KRISTYNA ARCHER
interdisciplinary LENS-BASED ARTIST CREATING AT THE INTERSECTION OF video, MOVING IMAGE, & PHOTOGRAPHY.
Kristyna Archer is a conceptual interdisciplinary artist working across video, moving image, and photography. She creates thought-provoking, visually-compelling work through a lens of hyperrealism. She explores the surreal and the absurd, with a proclivity towards irony as a means for uncovering deeper connections within the human condition. She received her Bachelor of Arts in photography at Columbia College Chicago, and currently resides in Los Angeles.
Her work is a part of the 1st and largest NFT-native community photography commission “The World Today,” and the NFT Billboard Exhibition by ObscuraDAO X The Billboard Creative and exhibitions at MAD Arts, OM, NFT Liverpool, The Billboard Creative, ETH Denver. Her films have been screened internationally, and some of her past commissioned clients include Google, Canon, and the NYTimes.
Archer is a contributing writer for the Obscura DAO and helped Fellowship Trust launch the historic photography archive of 20th century photographer August Sander onto the blockchain in February 2022 that sold out within 10 minutes. She’s passionate about equity in web3, empowering underrepresented voices, and pushing for sustainability in all aspects of her life and career.
